Creator and Sustainer
You are the calm in the storm
You are peace in the chaos
Whether the storm is raging outside
Or swirling in my mind
When I cling to you
I won’t be swept away
When I rest in your presence
The wind and waves grow calm
I can be still because I know that you are God
You give peace that the world could never offer
In big and subtle ways
You remind me of your loving presence
You’re the One who never leaves me
You’re the One who never grows weary
You’re the One who never leads me astray
I will trust in you
My hope is found in you alone
