YOU ARE CALLED TO BE A PEACEMAKER
The Bible is a story of a peacemaking God. In the beginning, God brought life and beauty and order where there had been darkness and disorder. We hold in tension the original goodness with the brokenness of our current reality. But God is restoring our broken world, and he calls us to be peacemakers and to join in the restoration.
PEACEMAKING IN LOCAL & GLOBAL ISSUES
We are called into peacemaking, but how do we go about this incredibly important, yet difficult work in a broken world? Matthew Stricker leads us through Global Immersion's peacemaking framework as we learn to see others, immerse ourselves into their reality, contend for their flourishing, and join in the restoration that God is doing.
PEACEMAKING IN RELATIONSHIPS
The ultimate goal for relationship is not the absence of conflict. Rather, the goal is shalom, and that shalom is only possible when both parties speak their truth and hear the truth of the other. There is always a risk in peacemaking because shalom is not always possible. But we must decide if the relationship is worth fighting for.
